I had a 2 hour journey to the volunteer base in Sungai Geringging. I was immediately on my first job when I arrived, helping with the new showers for the volunteer house. Until they were finished, 30 of us would be showering out of the 3 buckets that were in the toilets. When finished we’ll still be taking bucket showers, but there will be more of them, changing rooms and shower cubicles. Practically luxury!

It was cool to meet all the volunteers and they all seemed genuinely nice, cooler than I’d imagined too. Obviously it was awesome to see Bowlin as well.

Dinner was lovely and I was tucked up in bed by half 9!
